State Bar of Michigan to host virtual Lawyer Trust Account Webinar

The State Bar of Michigan announced on Apr. 14 that it will hold a half-day virtual seminar on lawyer trust accounts for attorneys and legal professionals on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $25.

The webinar aims to help Michigan attorneys better understand the ethical management of lawyer trust accounts, including property processing analysis, record keeping requirements, and responsibilities under MRPC 1.15 and 1.15A.

Open to State Bar members, their legal staff, law students, unlicensed graduates, and other legal professionals, the session requires registration and payment by Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m. Registered participants will receive materials by email about one week before the seminar. Another session is planned for Oct. 27, 2026.
