The Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) service announced on Apr. 13 that new short training videos are now available to help users with the multifactor authentication (MFA) process.

The addition of these videos aims to make it easier for PACER users to understand and complete MFA requirements, which are important for secure access to court records online.

According to the announcement, the new resources include step-by-step video instructions on several key topics. One video guides users through adding an authentication application during MFA enrollment. Another explains how to generate backup codes when enrolling in MFA. Additional videos demonstrate how users can log in using either an authentication application or backup codes once enrolled, as well as what steps they should take if they do not have access to their chosen MFA methods.

These instructional materials accompany existing learning aids already available on the PACER website. The goal is to provide clear guidance so that all users can navigate security measures with confidence and minimal difficulty.

As digital security continues to be a priority for online services, such educational tools may help reduce confusion and improve user experience while maintaining strong protection for sensitive information.
