Judicial Information Services announced on Mar. 31 that a virtual training session for the MiFILE e-filing system will be held via Zoom from 9 to 11 a.m. on May 5, 2026.
The upcoming training is important for those who use MiFILE in Michigan’s trial courts, as it aims to improve users’ familiarity with the system and enhance their ability to file documents electronically.
MiFILE is powered by TrueFiling and is intended to “transform the court experience by improving access, providing greater flexibility for litigants, and enhancing overall efficiency in case management.” The program currently supports 125 trial courts across the state.
This training opportunity is open to anyone who uses MiFILE for District, Circuit, and Probate Courts. Eligible participants include attorneys, legal assistants, self-represented litigants, and staff from legal self-help centers. The session will focus solely on filings in trial courts; appellate court filings are not included in this training.
Registration must be completed by May 1 through an online portal.
