In a recent filing with the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, Duane Dean Fry has initiated a lawsuit against Michigan Truck Solutions, LLC, and its key personnel—Craig A. Scholten, Jeremey Jones, and Scott Keena. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants have violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Michigan’s Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act (IWOWA) by failing to pay minimum wage and overtime compensation. Fry claims he was not paid for several weeks of work and was terminated in retaliation for raising concerns about unpaid wages. The lawsuit seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages, attorney fees, and other relief.
