Ryan Beebe, a 35-year-old resident of Dighton, has been sentenced to 30-50 years in prison following his conviction on multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct involving a minor. The sentencing took place on November 24 after a Wexford County jury found Beebe guilty last month of two counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and two counts of Second-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced the sentencing. “I am proud of the work my prosecutors have done to pursue justice for the victim of this case, and I am grateful to the survivor who showed tremendous courage in coming forward to speak out against these horrific crimes,” Nessel said. “This significant sentence reinforces our commitment to supporting survivors of sexual abuse and holding their abusers accountable.”

According to information from authorities, Beebe sexually assaulted the minor several times while they lived together in a Wexford County home between 2016 and 2021. The abuse began when the victim was eight years old. Charges were brought against Beebe by the Wexford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in January, with prosecution managed by the Department of Attorney General.
